Eyefootage offers access to your uploaded car accident footage to police departments, car insurance carriers and legal professionals. Your accident footage could be instrumental in their claims and case investigations. Footage MUST be your original footage content.

Eyefootage is a hosting platform that offers access to your uploaded car accident footage. You maintain the rights to your footage and grant licensing access to interested parties.

Eyefootage offers a revenue-sharing program where car accident footage uploaders can earn a share of the revenue generated from the sale of their accident footage. You earn based on the frequency of sales of your footage. You are paid every time that your footage is sold. If we are able to sell your footage to two different involved insurance carriers, then you would be paid twice. The more recent and the higher the resolution of your footage, the higher your potential earnings.

To start earning, simply sign up and start uploading your accident footage. We will reach out to you and provide easy-to-follow steps to access your payment every time your footage is sold.

We accept accident footage from any video source including your dash camera, doorbell camera, business CCTV and cell phone. We currently only support MP4 format videos. While there is no strict resolution requirements, videos with higher resolution tend to generate more sales. The more videos you upload, the greater the earning potential.
Most accident footage is eligible for monetization as long as it adheres to our content guidelines. This includes your original videos. We do not allow footage submissions that are not yours and that violate our community standards or copyright policies.

Your earnings will be processed in one to three business days of the sale of your footage. We currently support PayPal as a payout payment method.

You will be paid $150.00 every time your footage is sold to an interested party.

There are no fees for uploading your footage to our platform. but a small percentage of revenue is retained by the platform to cover operational costs such as hosting, infrastructure, and ad management. The rest is shared with you.

We unfortunately only support US accident footage at this time.

We accept footage from as far back as 6 years, Keep in mind that the older your footage, the less frequently it might sell.

If your footage is removed due to policy violations, your account may be terminated and any associated earnings will be revoked. Be sure to review and follow our community guidelines to avoid any interruptions in your monetization.

To maximize your earnings, we recommend the following:
  • Upload high-quality video footage.
  • Optimize your video with good accident descriptions, and complete all required accident location fields for search.
  • Upload your footage as soon as you can. The more recent your footage, the higher the likelihood it will attract interest.

Once you’ve found a video you’re interested in, you can then purchase the video via our secure payment system. The footage will then be transferred to your account for use.

All accident footage is set at the same flat price by Eyefootage.

When you purchase a video, you receive a license to use the footage for your investigative purposes. The video uploader retains ownership, but you have the right to use the footage as agreed upon in the transaction terms.

We require video uploaders to provide details about the context, location, and date of the footage to confirm its authenticity. However, it's the responsibility of the purchasing party to verify the footage’s accuracy to their investigation.
